When Fray’s hidden magic is accidentally revealed, he is drawn back to Hexton – the magical town from which his family were banished many years before.
With no one to trust and nowhere to turn, Fray must decide what he wants for himself as he comes up against people who see his very name as a curse, others who believe he might have the solution they’ve been searching for, and those who are desperate to get their hands on his mysterious Croxometer – one of the most powerful magical objects to ever exist.
With the very magic of Hexton in danger, can Fray live up to his magical legacy while also finding a way to survive? More importantly, can he find the place where he belongs?
